Volunteer Information

Volunteer Coordinator: Niki Meza - nikimeza@comcast.net - (561)385-2050

Parents are required to do a minimum of 40 volunteer hours (20 a semester) for their children to attend RLC. There are many ways to accomplish this:

  • RLC EVENTS
  • APPBC Events
  • Attending PTO Meetings, Parent Trainings, and Clean Up days
  • Lawn Care
  • Driving the RLC bus
  • Getting Sponsors
  • Coffee Cut-ups -
For more information about Coffee Cut-ups, and other ways to help out our teachers, contact Giana Garcia at 561-396-7406. Or email her at gianamay@yahoo.com

Please check the volunteer book located in the reception area for more great ideas.

If you are interested in volunteering and are not a parent please call the school or the Volunteer Coordinator (listed above).

Renaissance Learning Center SAC/PTO

Due to our small size, Renaissance Learning Center combines our School Advisory Council (SAC) and our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). RLC’s SAC/PTO’s mission is two-fold. As a SAC our mission is to develop and help to implement the school improvement plan and share responsibility for guiding the school toward continuous improvement. As a PTO, our primary objective is to provide our school with funds and activities that will enrich our children’s experience. RLC continues to maintain a high staff to student ratio and provide a quality of education that they cannot receive at any other school in Palm Beach County or the state. Please consider how fortunate you are that your child has the opportunity to be a part of RLC!
